Tasteful fake wood panelling is well complimented by the vintage carpet
Not bad actually. It’s been fixed up fairly recently. The counters are really short for me though…
A nice little breakfast nook. The table is gone but the bench remains.
Your average bathroom. But with a hidden secret…
A cozy cave with a big south facing window
The above mentioned big south facing window all tucked in to keep the house warmer
When I say ‘little bedroom’ I mean it. Just big enough for a twin bed and about that much more floor space plus a roof that is too short for me to stand up. And it leaks.
I get a mudroom! And it has a lovely south facing window and a counter for sprouting plants. Lots of big sturdy cupboards for storing stuff stuff and…
… there is room for a washer AND a dryer (if I keep it) AND a big freezer or utility sink!
The front door (Mudroom)
The kitchen wall as seen from the neat little back yard. Those are garden beds built up along the wall. I’ll have to find some good shade loving plants for there. Maybe a mushroom garden?!
Nice spot for a deck but the deck is evil and must die! (The deck has in fact been ripped out. That was the very first project. Had to be done before someone broke a leg!)
I see future barbecues!
The south wall that needs more windows and less bathroom
Hello mister leaky roof! I’ll fix you and your pretty dog too!
The odd little kitchen garden alley spot. Gonna have to think up something interesting to do here.
The weird little roof that was added over the VERY saggy and leaky kitchen roof. It’ll be interesting to see what fixing that up is like.
